MomsRising.org is an online and on-the-ground grassroots organization for moms and everyone who has a mom. With more than a million members nationwide, MomsRising.org supports family-friendly workplace and public policies including maternity and paternity leave; open, flexible work; access to afterschool programs and educational television; health care for all children; excellent child care; realistic and fair wages; and paid sick days.

Established in 2006, MomsRising is working to create cultural and legislative change at the state and national levels. The organization played an important role in securing paid family leave in New Jersey and Washington state, and paid sick days in Milwaukee. MomsRising.org members have also helped pass legislation to remove highly toxic phthalates from young children's toys and products, and the Consumer Product Safety Reform Act that will better protect our families from toxic substances.

MomsRising.org works in partnership with more than 100 national and state organizations to achieve their shared goals and vision for a family-friendly nation.
